Bye 2020!

Bye 2020! Our first year was definitely different than expected. Better? Worse? There were ups and downs, but it has definitely motivated us to act.

Pandemic reminded us all how important neighbourhood solidarity & volunteering engagement are. But at the same time, due to the restrictions, formal volunteering has never been as challenging as it is now. Non-profits and volunteers need to follow strict safety rules, and new regulations can come anytime.

Nevertheless, we launched the platform in the middle of the pandemic. Supporting non-profits in these times and being there for volunteers that want to donate their time is even more rewarding. While most Corporate Volunteering team events got canceled, some companies opted for online versions. We want to work toward empowering more NPOs to benefit from Corporate Volunteering, even (or especially!) in hard times like now.

We are looking forward to 2021, can’t wait to finally meet in person with many of you & build a stronger volunteering community in Vienna!
